ATA Liberty Charter Academy

Liberty Charter Academy is transforming approximately 150,000 square feet of former big-box retail space into a K–12 school. Insight’s work focuses on turning a building designed for retail into a cohesive educational environment while allowing the project to be implemented in phases. The plan creates distinct lower- and upper-school areas supported by a central gymnasium and stage, more than 50 classrooms, art and music rooms, media space, administrative areas, and a two-story upper-school commons. The project demonstrates how thoughtful adaptive reuse can unlock the potential of an existing property while aligning facility decisions with program, budget, phasing, and long-term growth.
