Pine Springs Middle School

As Pine Springs Preparatory Academy expanded, the middle school needed to feel connected to the existing campus while establishing its own identity. The new 550-student school uses a compact three-story footprint to preserve the wooded 20-acre site and take advantage of views toward the athletic fields, trees, and pond. Indoor and outdoor commons create places for students to gather, while shared amenities—including a competition gymnasium and interior amphitheater—serve both campuses and the broader school community. The design balances efficient planning, site stewardship, and flexible spaces that support daily learning and community use.
