Emily Werner

Architectural Designer

Emily started as an Architectural Designer at Insight Architects in February of 2024. She received her Master of Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology and her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Florida, her home state.

Her passions for architecture stem from a childhood curiosity for how things work, which evolved into the desire to learn about the built environment. Emily is particularly interested in sustainability, inclusivity, and urban design, as well as the impact of the built environment on the individual. She believes that the environments in which we live, work, learn, and play have a major impact on our quality of life. With this in mind, Emily strives to design environments that will have a positive impact on those who occupy them.

In her free time, Emily builds upon her creativity through crochet and city-building games. Her other hobbies include houseplants, reading mystery novels, and baking.
